Join in a fireside chat as we discuss these issues with Squire Patton Boggs legal counsel Jeffrey Schagren and seasoned meeting industry professional Tony Cummins, CMP, CMM.

About the Speakers

Jeffery Schagren has more than 27 years of experience, having served as in-house counsel for La Quinta Inns and Suites and AccorHotels for North America, Central America and the Caribbean. Currently, he serves as legal counsel for Squire Patton Boggs where he heads the Hospitality Group in North America. Schagren brings a tremendous amount of experience with contracts, insurance, risk, and much more.

Tony Cummins CMP, CMM is the founder and owner of The MEETiNG DEPARTMENT LLC, an independent site sourcing and meeting management company. Tony is also an adjunct faculty member at Richland College where he teaches Convention/Exposition Law and Ethics and works closely with hospitality attorneys across the U.S. He has been part of the MPI D/FW Chapter for more than 24 years and has served in various leadership roles including Chapter President in 2015-2016.
