Leadership Committee Break out of your run-of-the-mill mold, tap your inner creativity and ignite that leader inside you! Our Leadership team is comprised of leaders and leaders-in-the-making, all of whom aspire to build their leadership skills and encourage and help their fellow chapter members to do the same.
What we do: • Foster leadership development in all members at all levels • Increase awareness within membership of the chapter’s leadership opportunities and the personal and professional benefits of chapter leadership • Plan and implement leadership events and educational meetings • Develop and execute mentoring programs to encourage participation in chapter leadership and to give members professional assistance where they need it • Identify members to serve in leadership positions to ensure succession planning for our chapter How we do it: • Fun, interactive, energized Leadership Committee planning meetings once a month • Leadership chapter events and sub-committees such as The Breakfast Club, Opportunity Lounge, Emerging Leaders programs, Leadership Retreat, Mentor Program, Industry Leadership Council and the Awards and Nomination Committees.
