The annual membership fee for US-based planners and suppliers is $375.00.  That fee includes membership to MPI International as well as affiliation with a chapter of your choice - and we hope you will choose the award-winng D/FW Chapter to call your home.  You can also become a Subscriber member to additional chapter(s) if you have territories or interests in other areas.  Your opportunities in the MPI global community are endless!  In order to join MPI please complete an online application.  

Please note that MPI International strives to always have a 50-50 planner and supplier ratio.  All supplier members are required to have a planner match before their application will be processed.  If you know a planner that is about to join MPI, ask them to join with you as your planner match to speed up your application process.  If you do not know of any planners ready to join MPI then MPI will match you to another planner as soon as one becomes available.  The supplier waiting time varies according to the number of applications received and you may always contact MPI International at 972-702-3000 to ascertain the current waiting period.  Membership in MPI is on an individual basis and belongs to the member rather than their employer.   See the MPI International website www.mpiweb.org for additional details and membership policies.

DUES

MPI membership belongs to the individual supplier or planner who originally joins the association, even if the employer paid for it. If the employer pays for the membership and the member leaves their organization, the employer is eligible to receive a trial six-month "limited membership". After the six-month trial, the member is expected to pay full annual dues and find a planner match (if the member is a supplier) to continue the membership. Member dues are non-refundable and are due annually on the anniversary date of acceptance. Dues quoted are subject to change. Annual membership includes an annual subscription to The Meeting Professional magazine. Approximately 18% of dues are rebated to local chapters for membership support and education.
