THE WORKSHOP:
The CMP Workshop are educational sessions focused on the study and review of CIC’s International Standards (CMP-IS) as well as the purpose of earning Continuing Education Units (CEU) to become a Certified Meeting Professional. This program currently meets once a week for (8) weeks and covers the (10) different domains specified in CMP-IS defined by the CMP governing body, the Convention Industry Council (CIC).
Facilitated by local CMP industry experts, each session includes a copy of CIC’s CMP International Standards guide, the CIC CMP Handbook, the presentation (handout) from each session, guidance and review of the CMP application, and general information about the exam process.
