New Member Information
WELCOME to the award winning MPI D/FW Chapter! We are honored to have you as a one of our newest chapter members. Please take a moment to peruse this page to gain a quick overview of our Chapter.
- The MPI D/FW Chapter holds monthly meetings that are education based on top of a few special events that we hold each year. We hold our educational meetings on the 4th Thursday of every month with the exception of November and December (due to the holidays). The location of our gathering rotates to various properties and venues throughout the D/FW metroplex.
- Our website always has the most up to date and current information regarding our chapter. Please refer to www.mpidfw.org for meeting times, dates, topics, special events, stand along education days, networking events, sponsorship information and more. Weekly Chapter eNews and periodic eAlerts are forwarded to our members to keep you up to date. Look for the New Member eNews to be sent quarterly reminding you of your new member benefits.
- Most of the Chapter's monthly meetings have a new member orientation that is held from 11:00am – 11:30am. There is no cost associated with attending orientation and you are able to register for via the chapter website when you register for a monthly meeting. Walk-ins are also welcome at orientation. Please note that pre-registration is required to attend the monthly meetings. Orientation is held every month except February, March, June and December.
- Our Chapter proudly offers a Buddy Program at the monthly educational meetings. The D/FW Chapter is the 6th largest chapter in MPI’s global community, so participating in our Buddy Program will be a helpful way to meet your fellow chapter members. Our Buddies come to orientation and will act as your personal liaison at the meeting to help you begin building your chapter contacts as well as providing a Buddy for you to sit with at the luncheon. - One of the best ways to increase your ROI of your membership and to build lifelong contacts is to get involved on a committee. We have more than 30 committee options to choose from, so the perfect committee is out there and waiting for you to join. Please visit our website under the Leadership or Member section to find a list of all our Chapter Committees along with the contact information of each committee chair and the Board of Directors in charge of that area. The chapter strives to have all of our members become active. If you are not receiving all the information you require after volunteering for a committee, please let one of the Board of Directors in charge of that area know about your concern.

- The D/FW Chapter supports green initiatives so please look for green aspects at all of our functions.
