All Things Conflict:  How to Manage Conflict of Interest, Conflict Management and Get To Solutions Together

Conflict can permeate both our business and personal lives and is often the driver of failed relationships. When it comes to conflict, equipping yourself with tools, conversation starters and being able to identify triggers can help you in all aspects of your life. Join MPI D/FW and HSMAI in a joint luncheon with Michelle Johnson, event professional, board facilitator, and business owner, as we explore techniques to help you find a common ground for accountability, from an employee or boss to a volunteer or friend. Learn how to “love” conflict – well, at least learn how to face it head on and be able to manage it!

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

  1. Identify conflict and accept the behaviors it comes with from both sides of the story.
  2. Know the difference between a situation that need to be dealt with and those you are ok to let go of.
  3. Get a mutual agreement on accountability in all aspects of your life – employment, home and volunteering.
  4. Learn how to prepare and successfully hold a “difficult” conversation
